How does a BMS (Building Management System) help automatically turn off the air conditioning when the tourist leaves the balcony door open?
A contact mounted on the balcony door signals the BMS that it is open, and the system automatically turns off the air conditioning in that room until it closes. This way you no longer cool or heat outside, at the hotel's expense. Over hundreds of rooms and an entire season, the savings become significant.
What card or smartphone access control solutions do you recommend for modern hotel rooms?
We recommend electronic locks with encrypted card or smartphone access (mobile key), integrated with the reception/PMS system, so that the card is activated at check-in and automatically expires at check-out. You benefit from increased security, access records and the elimination of lost key costs. We also add access to areas (spa, parking, fitness room).
How can we ensure differentiated ambient sound by area (reception, restaurant, pool, terrace)?
We install a multi-zone system where each space has its own audio source, volume and program, centrally controlled. A discreet atmosphere at the reception, another at the pool, another at the restaurant — all adjustable from a single point. The system can also be EN 54 certified, doubling as a commercial and voice evacuation role.
How is the unification of security systems (video surveillance, fire alarm) achieved so that they can be managed by a single hotel dispatcher?
We integrate CCTV, access control, burglar alarm and fire detection into a common platform, monitored from the reception or from a central dispatcher. Staff see everything in one place and react in a coordinated manner to any event. This reduces the required staff and response time.
