PRAM checks — earthing and electrical installations
PRAM checks confirm that the electrical installation safely evacuates a fault, protecting people and equipment.

Legal protection and real safety against electric shock. We perform PRAM (Earth, Resistance, Insulation) measurements with calibrated equipment and issue technical bulletins instantly recognized by ITM and ISU. For companies and institutions in Constanta and Dobrogea, this means peace of mind during inspections and the protection of people and equipment — without surprises in the event of an inspection or incident.
What we include
- Earthing resistance
- Continuity of protective conductors
- Insulation resistance
- Technical report compliant, ready for inspection
- Remedying identified defects
Frequently asked questions
What is a PRAM bulletin and who has the legal right to issue it in Constanța?
The PRAM bulletin is the technical document that certifies that the grounding installation, the dispersion resistance and the cable insulation are within the standard limits. It can only be issued by a company with authorized personnel and metrologically calibrated equipment. GreenSoft performs these measurements with verified equipment and issues bulletins accepted by ITM and ISU.
How often are PRAM checks mandatory for commercial and industrial premises?
The frequency depends on the type of installation and the working environment: usually annually for normal environments and every 6 months for high-risk environments. In coastal areas, the saline environment accelerates corrosion, so we recommend more frequent checks. We will establish a schedule together according to the regulations in force.
What legal and financial risks does having an expired PRAM card entail?
An expired certificate means non-compliance with the ITM or ISU inspection, with fines and, in serious cases, the cessation of activity. In addition, in the event of an accident by electric shock or electrical fire, the insurer may refuse compensation if the installation was not checked. The cost of renewal is insignificant compared to the legal and financial exposure.
Is it necessary to turn off the power in the building during PRAM measurements?
For most measurements (earth resistance, continuity) there is no need for a complete shutdown. For insulation resistance tests, the circuit is stopped for a few minutes. We plan the intervention so that the impact on your business is minimal.
What do we do if PRAM tests reveal non-compliant grounding values?
We clearly show you which circuit is out of order and the probable cause (corrosion, loose connection, incorrect sizing). Then we propose a fix and re-measure until compliance. This way you receive the final report on an actually safe installation, not just on paper.
