Generators and UPS: backup power for your building, in Constanta
When the power goes out, the servers, refrigerators, elevators, and fire alarm systems must not go down with it. Backup power is designed, not improvised.
A few minutes of downtime can ruin a day of production, a server room or a cold storage facility. A UPS Hold sensitive equipment until it starts generator set, and automatic switching (AAR) does it all without anyone running to the switchboard.

For customers with a contract, we periodically test the load group, check the UPS batteries and intervene within the contract deadlines.

Frequently asked questions
UPS or generator set?
The UPS covers seconds and minutes, without interruption; the group covers hours, but starts in 10-30 seconds. For servers and security you need a UPS; for elevators, refrigerators and air conditioning, a group. Usually, both.
How big does the group need to be?
As many consumers as you supply during a power outage, not as many as the entire building. Together we choose what stays on and size it by the numbers, including the starting currents of the motors.
How often is testing done?
Monthly test start and quarterly load test, plus UPS battery check. We include them in the maintenance contract, with minutes.
Do you also provide approvals for the generator set?
Yes: location, exhaust, fuel tank and ISU requirements are addressed in the design.
