Frequently asked questions
Is DPO mandatory for a clinic?
We evaluate on a case-by-case basis: GDPR requires a DPO when medical data is processed on a large scale, which is usually the case in multi-specialty clinics, and usually not in individual practices. We offer outsourced DPO on a subscription basis.
Can cameras film in waiting rooms and hallways?
Yes, with visible information, justified purpose (safety, security) and limited retention; not in offices and salons. We document everything in the GDPR impact assessment.
What happens to the equipment during a power outage?
UPSs keep critical equipment and the medical application server running until the power returns or until the generator starts, sized for the clinic's actual consumers.
Do you also provide ISU approval for the clinic?
Yes, from the fire safety scenario to detection and safety lighting installations, with the submission of the file.
Can you maintain all systems in one contract?
Yes: nurse call, access, CCTV, fire, UPS, network and IT, with written response times. A single phone number for any technical issue.
