Video analytics and license plate recognition (LPR) for existing CCTV
Your cameras are already recording everything. Video analysis teaches them to understand: who entered, how many passed, which car stopped at the barrier and whether they were allowed.
A classic surveillance system is good after the incident: you search through the recordings for two hours to see what happened. GreenSoft configures video analytics on existing cameras or new cameras with on-board processing: intrusion detection on zones and lines, people and vehicle counting, left or missing objects, smoke or flame detection in industrial buildings, quick search by attributes (color, vehicle type, range). With LPR, the barrier opens itself for the cars on the list, and each entry remains in the log with the number, time and photo.
For retail, people counting and traffic maps show which areas of the store are working; for ports and warehouses, LPR replaces the gate register.

Does video analysis work on the cameras I have?
On many modern IP cameras, yes, directly in the camera or recorder. For older or analog cameras, the analysis is done on a server or we replace the cameras at key points.
How accurate is LPR?
With a dedicated camera, correctly positioned and with appropriate lighting, recognition is reliable day and night, including at low speed. Position and light make the difference, which is why we design the access, not just mount the camera.
Is facial recognition legal?
Facial recognition processes biometric data and requires a solid legal basis and impact assessment; we only recommend it where it is justified. People detection, counting, and LPR have simpler requirements, which we document.
Can I open the barrier automatically for employees and suppliers?
Yes, with license plate lists with schedule and validity; visitors are registered with a photo and can be validated at the reception.
