Frequently asked questions
How many access points does a hotel need?
It depends on the structure of the building and the wall materials, not just the number of rooms. That's why we start with measurements, not with a paper estimate. As an order of magnitude, a 3-star hotel needs an access point every 3-4 rooms in the corridor.
Can I have a separate guest network?
Yes, and we always recommend it. Guests receive a network with an authentication portal and bandwidth limit, and employees and technical systems are on separate networks, invisible from the public area.
Do you use equipment from a specific manufacturer?
We work with enterprise equipment with centralized management, chosen according to the project and budget. We present you with the options before the offer.
What happens if an access point fails?
With centralized management we see the defect immediately, and in maintenance contracts we have intervention times written in. Properly designed networks have overlapping coverage, so a defect does not leave areas without signal.
