Frequently asked questions
What is a Nurse Call system and how does it work in a clinic or hospital?
It is the system through which the patient calls the nurse with a button from the bed, bathroom or hallway, and the call reaches the staff console and the signaling in the corridor instantly. Calls are prioritized (emergency, bathroom, attendance), so that critical cases are highlighted. The result is a shorter response time and safer care.
Are these systems resistant to chemical disinfectants and intensive use?
Yes. We use medical equipment with antibacterial housings, resistant to common disinfectants and designed for continuous intensive use. The bathroom buttons are waterproof and can be operated with a cord. The components are specially selected for the hospital environment.
How are medical personnel alerted (central console, door lights, mobile pagers)?
By all these means, combined: central console at the guard point, lamp above the door in the corridor and, optionally, notifications on pagers or mobile phones/DECT. Thus, the call is visible wherever the nurse is. We configure the alert flow after organizing the ward.
Do the Nurse Call systems you install work wired or wirelessly?
We offer both options. Wired systems are preferred for new construction and large sections, with maximum reliability; wireless systems are ideal for quick upgrades in existing buildings, without extensive work. We recommend the right solution for your building and budget.
Can reports be extracted on nurses' response time to patient calls?
Yes. Modern systems record each call, the time it was taken and the time it took to resolve it, generating reports that are useful for quality management and accreditation. This way, you can objectively monitor the performance of your care. We configure the reports according to the indicators that interest you.
