Video surveillance systems (CCTV)
High resolution IP cameras, properly sized storage and secure access from your phone. IGPR authorization.

Smart IP video surveillance, not just cameras that shoot for nothing. We install high-resolution cameras with AI video analytics — virtual perimeter, facial recognition, license plate reading (LPR) — for total remote control, from your phone. The system doesn't just record, it alerts you in real time when it matters.
What we include
- Indoor/outdoor IP cameras, including harsh conditions
- NVR/server recording with scaled retention
- Video analytics: perimeter detection, people counting, license plate recognition
- Access and notifications from your phone, integration with access and burglar alarm
Frequently asked questions
What advantages does video analysis with Artificial Intelligence (AI) bring over classic cameras?
AI distinguishes a human from an animal, a car from a shadow, and triggers alerts only for real events, drastically reducing false alarms. It can draw virtual perimeters, count people, recognize faces or license plates, and quickly search through recordings. Basically, you transform cameras from a passive archive into an active prevention system.
How long are video recordings kept on the NVR according to Romanian commercial legislation?
The usual recommendation and common practice is a minimum of 20–30 days of storage, sized according to the number of cameras and resolution. The specific period depends on the declared purpose and the specific requirements of the activity. We size the NVR and hard drives so that they cover the required period without loss.
What safety measures are in place to keep the video system operating during a power outage?
We install uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for NVRs and critical cameras so that surveillance continues during a short outage or until the generator starts. For sensitive locations, we size the autonomy as needed. This way you are not left blind at the exact moment of vulnerability.
How does night vision work on Full-Color vs. Infrared cameras?
Infrared cameras provide clear black-and-white images in total darkness, making them ideal where there is no light at all. Full-Color cameras use high-performance sensors and low ambient light to preserve color images even at night, useful when color matters. We choose the technology based on the scene and objective of each camera.
What are the legal and GDPR obligations of a company that installs surveillance cameras?
The company must display warning icons, have a legitimate and proportionate purpose, limit the areas filmed and the duration of storage, and protect access to the images. GreenSoft configures the system with privacy masks, user access, and proper retention to be GDPR compliant.
